Why Stage A Home for Sale in the First Place?

Home staging has proven to sell houses in less time and for more money according to many sources, including the Wall Street Journal. Why?  The reason is that in recent years we have learned more about human behavior when it comes to making purchases. Homes that use these new  marketing techniques and interior design psychology have been found to sell faster and for more money. I will stage your home using this knowledge so that BUYERS WILL REMEMBER YOUR HOME in a positive light. With my experience, as a current Realtor and Stager, I have learned what works.  Adding props, accessories, moving your furniture, all aid a buyer to see and remember your home over the many others available.


Still Wondering What I Will Do?

To give you an idea, think of the last model home you saw or go and visit a local one. Remember or take note of the way the interior designers dressed the home to sell. Notice how the designer under-furnished the model home by using just enough accessories to make a superb marketing presentation, without over doing it. Rooms do not seem crowded or small. This is my goal for your home as well.  I will view your home, think of the best furniture placement, and ask for some items to be removed. Then I will accessorize your home to STAND OUT among the many homes a buyer may see.

 

What if my House is Vacant?

You do not need to add as much furniture to a vacant home to encourage buyers to visualize their own furniture in the home. What is the key to my staging strategy?--to make your home FEEL LIKE the BUYERS DREAM HOME!  I use a few props to dress up your vacant house. Empty rooms look flat and uninviting. In addition, your Realtor will have better pictures to improve the advertising of your home. I also can provide professional photographs and a Virtual Tour at a discounted price if you book through me.
